Beryl
Beryl is a mostly copper extreme woolly male. He came home to us at nine weeks old and was welcomed easily into the pack, being we no longer had a male since Rusty had passed away.
Beryl has been coming to my therapy office with me since he was itty bitty. He was a natural, and even when you would expect him to be hyper with puppy energy, he was relaxed and would quickly adapt to the energy of the room and the needs of the people in it. Beryl gently greets every client that comes to my office. He walks them back to their seat. When it’s time to leave, he also walks them to the front door like the gentleman that he is.
Beryl is very obedient and compliant, but when he doesn’t want to do something, he makes a moo sound, and will low groan at you. e mostly does this if he is just being plain old lazy, and it makes me laugh every time. He is the gentle boy and works amazingly with even my young toddler clients with severe behavior issues.
He got his call name because I wanted a gemstone name to go with the females, but his full AKC name was given because of how hard it was for me to get another male after losing my Rusty boy. Beryl has definitely lived up to his name and brought so much comfort after such a tragic loss.
